"Bringing together the startup & tech ecosystem. Berlin roots. EU wings."
Help each other without expecting anything in return. Be generous with your knowledge. Don't be transactional. The community grows when everyone gives before they take.
No spam. Ideally, no sales.
This is not a sales channel. Don't pitch your product unsolicited. If something is genuinely relevant and useful to the community, use your judgement โ but err on the side of restraint.
Introduce yourself when you join
Share a short intro with your LinkedIn profile when you first join. It helps people know who you are and what you're working on. It's the first act of giving.
Be kind. Be helpful. Give before you take.
Help each other WITHOUT expecting anything in return. Pay it forward. The best communities are ones where people contribute freely โ and trust that it comes back around.
Healthy debate is welcome and encouraged
Debate leads to ideas and then action. Disagree openly, engage honestly, and assume good intent. The best conversations on this group have come from people pushing back on each other thoughtfully.
No xenophobic content. No religion or politics.
We're a diverse community โ Indians, Europeans, and many others who share the same values. Xenophobic content is an absolute no. Politics and religion tend to generate more heat than light โ keep those off the main group.
Adding someone? Loop in the group or ping an admin.
Don't add people silently. Share a quick note about who they are and why they'd be a good fit. A warm intro is better than a cold add โ for them and for the community.
Use the right subgroup
There are subgroups for jobs & hiring, investing, personal finance, misc chat, sports, and more. Keep the main group focused on startup and tech discussions. Move everything else to where it belongs โ it keeps the main group valuable for everyone.
